Neighbornet
Overview
NeighborNet is a web/app platform I created to help residents in apartment communities stay informed and engaged. The idea was born out of a common frustration: a lack of clear, accessible communication between property management and residents. Whether it’s understanding guest parking policies, reporting urgent roadblocks, or staying updated on neighborhood events, residents often feel left in the dark.
The Problem
Through user research and interviews, I discovered that many tenants experience confusion due to inconsistent or missing information from property managers. Key issues included unclear rules about common areas, limited visibility into policy changes, and no reliable way to ask questions or share timely updates with fellow residents.
The Solution
Creating a communication app that bridges the gap allowing:
Posts posted and viewed by the community
Real time announcements made by administrators
Quick answer and communications with apartment owners.
